Sausage is amazing.  I could never be a vegetarian.  I really like it — especially spicy Italian.   When I see sausage on menus, I always want to order it.  I can eat a lot of sausage too.  The restaurant DBGBs is a scary, but amazing place for me. I was so excited when it opened but also worried that I would gain 20 pounds from eating too much.  How could Daniel Boulud know that opening a restaurant specializing in sausage (in my neighborhood and walking distance from my apartment!)  was the best idea ever?  In the first year I went so much that all the waiters and hosts pretty much recognized me — and they would always give me something for free  — which I love.  My favorite is the Thai sausage.  It sounds terrible, but it’s delicious.  I brought my brother there — and he is a total picky eater — and even he loved the Thai sausage.   I’ve spent two New Year’s Eves at DBGBs — which is a great way to ring in the holiday — and scrumptious.   One time I went there with co-workers, and someone’s sausage rolled onto the floor. I happily volunteered to eat it anyway.  That’s how much I love sausage. 

I like people who like sausage.  Cris doesn’t like sausage all that much, and I think that might be the only thing that bothers me about him.  I feel like Swine should offer some sort of sausage like entree.  Hmmmm….

I think I want to go eat some sausage now.  Have a nice weekend.  

Oh… PS… Wakako and Hiroko took me a restaurant in Tokyo because they heard I like sausage. So I ate sausage in Japan last fall too. Please make sure you let me know what restaurants you’ve been to — and where I can get some good sausage.
